WhatsApp Business API Cost in the UAE

WhatsApp API pricing has two parts: your platform subscription (e.g. Airbook Enterprise plans in AED) and Meta conversation fees billed per 24-hour conversation window by category.

Meta conversation categories

Marketing conversations (promotions, offers) are charged at Meta's UAE marketing rate per conversation. Utility messages (order updates, reminders) and authentication (OTPs) have separate lower rates. Service conversations initiated by the customer are free within the service window.

Platform subscription (Airbook Enterprise)

Example monthly budget

A Dubai holiday-home operator sending 2,000 marketing conversations/month might pay platform fee (e.g. Growth plan) plus Meta fees on those conversations. A clinic sending mostly appointment reminders uses more utility-priced messages — often lower per message than bulk marketing.
